We'll start the overnight hike up Moses Mountain, where it’s said that Moses received the Ten Commandments. Reaching the summit just in time for sunrise, and be amazed by the awe-inspiring views of the Sinai mountains. 🏔️
Afterward, we’ll make our way down to visit the ancient St. Catherine’s Monastery, dating back to the 6th century, and explore the Chapel of the Burning Bush 🔥⛰—a sacred place that’s stood for over 1,400 years.
Please Note:
đź“Ť Meeting at the hostel to begin our journey at the Garden Building (where our reception is), where you'll be picked up anytime between 10:00 PM and 10:30 PM.
⚠️ Don’t forget to bring your passport.
❗ It can get chilly at the summit, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or windbreaker. If you’re hiking in shorts, please bring a scarf or pants to wear when entering the monastery.
🏬 There are some kiosks along the trail selling snacks and water, so don't carry much water, but do bring some Egyptian pounds in small change to purchase refreshments.
